Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you will take the time to learn about our church and its ministries. Schreiber Memorial, along with all United Methodist Churches, is a congregation of open minds, open hearts, and open doors. “But what sets Schreiber apart and makes it unique?” you may be asking. It’s a fair question, because there certainly is no shortage of Methodist churches from which to choose in our area. What is distinctive about us is this: We are a hometown church in the heart of North Dallas.
What do you remember about the church in which you were raised? Stained glass windows, friendly people who really cared about you, pot luck dinners, Holy Communion once a month, Sunday School, youth group, Vacation Bible School, missions projects, preschool program, Bible studies, choirs for all ages, a congregation that felt like family? You will find all of these things and more at Schreiber Memorial UMC.
I promise that you won’t get lost in the crowd here. Ours is a congregation in which everyone matters a great deal to the life of the church. We would love to have you visit our church at your earliest convenience. Please come and see what we have to offer: a much more personal experience of church participation than you can find elsewhere. God bless you.
Rev. Dr. David T. Howeth

The Aldersgate Class is an adult Sunday School class that meets at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and is open to adults of all ages. We are studying a chronological list of 250 events in the life of Christ (as found in the Life Application Bible) in a format that includes a comparison of these events as told in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; and how we relate these events to us today. Come join us for fellowship, fun and sharing.
